Cookie Policy

Draft, pending legal review

This section explains what cookies we set, why, and how you change your mind at any time. It expands on the cookie summary in our privacy policy above and does not replace it.

What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. They let a site remember your choices between visits and let us understand, in aggregate, how the site is being used. Similar technologies such as local storage and tracking pixels work the same way, and everything in this section applies to them equally.

The Cookies We Use

Essential

Required for the website to work: page delivery, security, and remembering your cookie choice itself. These are always active because the site cannot function without them. They are never used to track you across other websites.

Analytics

Used to understand how visitors move through the site so we can improve it. These are set only after you consent. We use Google Analytics for this, which may record your IP address, browser type, device information, and interaction data, processed under Google's Privacy Policy.

Preference

Remember choices you have made, such as dismissing a banner, so you are not asked again on every page. These are set only after you consent.

Consent

Analytics and Preference cookies are off by default. Nothing beyond the essential set is placed on your device unless you accept it through our cookie banner.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time, and the change takes effect immediately. Update your cookie preferences.

Retention

• Cookie consent records: retained for 12 months from the date of consent or withdrawal
• Website analytics data: retained for 26 months in accordance with Google Analytics settings

Browser Controls

Independently of our banner, every major browser lets you block or delete cookies through its settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of this site from working. Clearing cookies also clears your recorded consent, so the banner will appear again on your next visit.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information. As stated in our privacy policy, we do not sell or share personal information.

Accessibility Statement

Draft, pending legal review

CrowdBoost Marketing is committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, regardless of ability or the technology they browse with.

Conformance Status

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. This website is currently partially conformant: most of the standard is met, and we are working on the areas that are not yet fully covered.

What We Have Done

• Semantic HTML structure with a single logical heading order on every page
• Text and interface colors checked against WCAG AA contrast ratios
• Keyboard access to every link, button, menu, and form control, with a visible focus outline
• Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images, and decorative images hidden from screen readers
• Form fields with associated labels and clear error messaging
• Motion and animation suppressed for visitors whose device requests reduced motion
• Layouts that reflow to 320px and support browser zoom to 200% without loss of content

Known Limitations

We are aware of the following and are working to resolve them:

• Some older blog posts and PDFs published before this standard was adopted may not meet it
• Embedded third-party content, such as maps, social feeds, and video players, is outside our direct control and may not be fully accessible
• Client work shown in our portfolio reflects each client's own site and its accessibility level

How We Assess

We evaluate this website using a combination of automated testing, manual keyboard and screen reader review, and checks against the WCAG 2.1 AA criteria during development and before any page goes live. Accessibility is part of our build process rather than a step at the end.

Tell Us About a Barrier

If you encounter anything on this site you cannot access, we want to hear about it. Please tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and the browser or assistive technology you were using. We aim to respond within five business days and will work with you to provide the information you need in a format you can use.
